Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA)
Urban Foresters is Washtenaw County's only TCIA accredited company. In fact, we are only the fourth company in the state of Michigan to hold this distinction. Accreditation through the Tree Care Industry Association is based on documented adherence to industry standards for safety and quality, continuing education and qualification of our employees, and a firm dedication to ethical business practices.
International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)
The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) has served the tree care industry for over eighty years as a scientific and educational organization. We have seven ISA Certified Arborists on staff.
Arboricultural Society of Michigan (ASM)
Founded in 1926, The Arboriculture Society of Michigan (ASM) members include arborists, urban foresters, municipal and utility foresters, professional tree workers/climbers, academia and others interested in all aspects of arboriculture and the health and care of Michigan’s trees.
